With a firm eye on driving our business even further forward, we have recently expanded the Hillfoot team in order to help us go from strength-to-strength. With acquisitions across both our purchasing and sales divisions, we’re incredibly enthusiastic about the wonderful talent who’ve joined the Hillfoot family.
With a wealth of experience in the oil and gas industry, Ashley graduated from a Purchasing Assistant to become a Purchasing and Logistics Coordinator over the course of 8 years. More than knowledgeable when it comes to inventory control, the expediting and placing of purchase orders, obtaining quotations and foreign territories such as Houston, Dubai and Singapore, Ashley has already covered an awful lot of bases in her career to date. Having spent the past 3 years as a Purchasing Manager, she oversaw re-ordering and quotations across four UK depots.
Outside of work, Ashley’s social calendar is kept busy by her family and friends, with live music a particular passion. Having become a qualified PADI scuba diver in 2015, she has taken her talents to the Red Sea in Egypt, but spends her time closer to home going on long dog walks in the countryside and down the coast.
As her career experience demonstrates, Ashley is a real asset for Hillfoot, and she has quickly made herself at home within our working family.
With a company-wide focus on delivering excellent customer service to our existing client base and a real desire to grow our customer base even further, we’ve added four new faces to the Hillfoot sales team to help reach those targets.
Having spent the last 4 years of her career in sales, Amanda has extensive experience in business development, customer service and sales and account management. With additional knowledge of lead generation, research, marketing and advertising, Amanda brings with her a tremendous wealth of skill and relevant experience.
A keen gym goer and keen traveller, Amanda is joining the Hillfoot family wanting to not only help us reach our goals, but develop her own existing skill set, as well.
Having had experience of the medical sector in both a marketing and sales capacity, James spent time dealing with products such as diabetes equipment, wound care and hand hygiene in the outpatient department. Following on from that work, his sales experience expanded in the office product and heat treatment sectors, with that role taking him out on the road visiting clients, as well as sales within the office.
Another exciting hire for Hillfoot, the chance to experience a new challenge and improve his existing skill set is what attracted James to the position, and he is enjoying working within a diverse team.
Leah returned to Hillfoot having completed her work experience here during her school days. While she initially intended to complete an NVQ in health and social care in higher education, she left to pursue a full-time career in a high-end designer handbag store, which had at first been a part-time role.
With a passion for customer service, she wanted to build on her 4 years of retail experience and learn more about strategic and business sales, which is when she joined the Hillfoot Business Support team. Progressing to the Sales team has always been a goal for Leah, and with a knowledge of the administrative duties of the business behind her, she’s another fantastic asset for our sales team.
