About Tony
Qualified in Metallurgy and steelmaking, Tony began his career at the sharp end as a foreman in a steelworks. Gaining experience as a Quality Control Manager, he then spent the next 20 years managing rolling mills, forges, plate and rod mills before returning to a Quality Assurance job at an integrated steel works.
Tony joined Hillfoot in 1997 and is currently the Group Technical Manager.
With this broad background in steelmaking and bar rolling, combined with years of experience in the Quality Assurance field he is well placed to answer your questions, or at least will know a man who can!
